Fifty-second session of the International Law Seminar will take place from 4 to 22 July 2016

Dear Members,

Please be informed that the fifty-second session of the International Law Seminar will take place from 4 to 22 July 2016.

We are also very pleased to inform you that the Seminar has a new website - www.ilsgeneva.ch - which was launched last month. It is still a work in progress but it contains all relevant information regarding this year's session and candidates can now send in their full application online before the deadline of 18 March 2016. We would appreciate it if you could convey this information to any qualified and interested person/institution of your choice.

With regard to the financing of the Seminar, we would highly appreciate any encouragement which you, as a member of the ILC, may be in a position to give to your Government in order to secure the necessary funding for this annual event closely associated with the activities of the Commission. An adequate number of fellowships for suitable candidates from developing countries is essential for ensuring the universality of the Seminar.
